This trip takes you through the Golden Triangle (Delhi - Agra - Jaipur) along with a wildlife treat at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The second part of the trip will take you through "God's own Country" - Kerala.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you to the capital of India! After your welcome, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in and a possible time to refresh. After refreshing head out for Delhi sightseeing. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhavan (the residence of the President of India) and India Gate. Then visit Akshardham Temple or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. In the evening you will head back to your hotel for relaxation and you can go for dinner in the hotel or in the city with your guide. Overnight at Le Meridien Delhi.

New Delhi

Day 2: Delhi
After an early breakfast, we will start with a guided tour of Old and New Delhi. After breakfast, set out for Delhi sightseeing, including the Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. Then visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh temples, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the pool inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar." Then visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Afterward, visit Raj Ghat, the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. In the evening visit Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. In the evening we will head back to Le Meridien Delhi for overnight.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra
After breakfast, we will drive to Agra, the city of the wonderful Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and will truly leave you in awe. The city of Agra is rich in culture, history, and architectural works and is one of the top destinations for tourists coming to India. Upon arrival, we will check-in at the hotel and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Later, we will proceed to visit the massive Agra Fort, an imperialist fort situated on the banks of river Yamuna and was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. In the evening head back to Taj Hotel Agra for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Agra - Ranthambore
Early in the morning at sunrise visit the spectacular Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. After our visit to the magical Taj, you will return to the hotel for breakfast. After a filling breakfast check out from the hotel and head towards Ranthambore. Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve are some of the world’s best-known wilderness areas. Reach Ranthambore by evening & check-in at Nahargarh on arrival and enjoy the rest of your evening free at leisure and enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Ranthambore
Early in the morning, we will head out for a jungle safari tour at 06:00 am. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest tiger reserves in India. It is in every sense a perfect place for wildlife photography. Later come back to the hotel, have breakfast, and relax. In the afternoon you will enjoy lunch at your hotel and some relaxation before you head back out for another jungle safari around 03:00 pm. In the evening you will head back to Nahargarh for dinner and evening at leisure.

Day 6: Ranthambore - Jaipur
In the morning, we will have breakfast at the hotel before check out and head towards the Pink City - Jaipur, famous for its massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples, and royal culture. Upon arrival, we will check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure or you can decide to take a stroll through the local market area. Jaipur's colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on your tour. Dinner and overnight at Radisson Jaipur.

Day 7: Jaipur
In the morning you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then set out for local sightseeing. Visit the historic heritage sites of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, and Jantar Mantar which is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh. Afterward visit the City Palace, a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, the impressive City Palace is right in the center of the Old City. Also, visit the Galta Ji temple also known as the ‘Monkey temple’, it is a historic pilgrimage site. In the evening you will head to a nice restaurant for dinner and get transferred back to Radisson Jaipur for overnight.

Day 8: Jaipur
After breakfast, we will visit the renowned forts of Jaipur. On your way also visit Jal Mahal (the palace in the middle of the lake), which was built in the 17th century. Visit the grand Amer Fort, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur and the current structure was built during the late 16th century by Rajput Kings. In the evening visit Nahargarh Fort, which provides a beautiful bird's eye view of the entire Jaipur city. Overnight at Radisson Jaipur.

Day 9: Jaipur - Kochi
After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and get transferred to Jaipur Airport for our flight to Kochi. The serene Kochi (a.k.a. Cochin) has been drawing traders and explorers to its shores for over 600 years. Nowhere else in India could you find such an intriguing mix of giant fishing nets from China, a 400-year-old synagogue, ancient mosques, Portuguese houses, and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. Arrive by flight at Kochi by evening. The private car will pick you up from Kochi airport and transfer you to the hotel. Evening at leisure at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi.

Day 10: Kochi - Munnar
After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and head straight to Munnar. The rolling hills around Munnar, South India's largest tea-growing region, are carpeted in emerald-green tea plantations After a journey of around 5 hours we will reach Munnar in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you can check into your hotel and freshen up before we head out. In the evening head out to see Kalaripayattu Show. Kalaripayattu is an ancient Indian martial art, which originated as a style in Kerala. Overnight at Fragrant Nature Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar
After breakfast, we will head out for sightseeing. Embark on a jeep tour to the villages & tea plantations. Munnar is known as the highest tea-growing region in the world, a trip to Munnar will be incomplete without having a visit to these tea plantations. Afterward, we will visit the Munnar Tea Museum. The tea museum preserves the aspects of the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala's mountain region of the Western Ghats. Later head out for a plantation walk tour. In the evening you will head back to Fragrant Nature Munnar for overnight.

Day 12: Munnar - Periyar
After breakfast check out from the hotel and head towards Periyar. The Periyar forests of Thekkady are one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks. In the afternoon we will reach Periyar and head straight to Amaana Resort for check-in, dinner, and leisure.

Day 13: Periyar 
Early in the morning, set out for a half-day guided jungle walk tour and Bamboo rafting at Periyar National Park. This activity takes close to 6 hrs. The wildlife sanctuary is also famous for its tiger reserve and elephant reserve. There are bright chances to spot the elephant herd in the jungle while you are hiking. Reach back to the hotel by noon. In the evening head out to see a Kathakali show (a very popular Indian classical dance form) before heading back to Amaana Resort for overnight.

Day 14: Periyar - Kollam
After breakfast we will check out from the hotel and head towards Kollam, the southern approach to Kerala’s backwaters, surrounded by the calm waterways of Ashtamudi Lake, fringed with coconut palms, cashew plantations, and traditional villages – a great place to get a feel for the backwaters without the crowds. You will reach Kollam by afternoon and head to Fragrant Nature Kollam for check-in and spend your evening at your leisure.

Day 15: Kollam 
After breakfast, we will head out for a sightseeing tour to Varkala Beach. Varkala Beach is a haven for sunbathing and swimming. In the afternoon reach back to Kollam and enjoy a boat ride at the backwaters & mangroves of Paravur Lake.  Spend the evening at leisure at Fragrant Nature Kollam.

Day 16: Kollam - Alleppey
After breakfast checks out from the hotel and head towards Alleppey, also known as the “Venice of the East” – Alleppey is world-famous for its vast mesmerizing backwaters. Reach Alleppey by noon and check-in at your private houseboat and enjoy a delicious lunch on the houseboat. Enjoy a boat cruise through the magnificent Vembanad lake for an unforgettable experience of backwater cruising. Dinner & overnight stay at the Southern Panorama Cruise.

Day 17: Alleppey - Kochi 
After breakfast, we will check out from the houseboat, and a private car will drop you at Kochi Airport by noon for your departure flight.
