Day 1: Arriving at the land of incredible landscapes
Upon arrival in India, our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After refreshing, relish a hearty meal amidst the beautiful mountains. Post lunch, relax & unwind at the property as you are still acclimatising to the 3,500m high altitude. In the evening, drive to visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu. Later, visit Leh Palace and walk around the local market.

Day 2: Sham Valley Excursion - Rizong Monastery - Lamayuru Monastery - Alchi Monastery
Today you will drive to visit the Rizong Monastery, also called the paradise for meditation (3,420 meters) situated on the north side of the Indus. It was established in 1831 and there are 40 monks in the monastery. Afterwards take a tour of Lamayuru Monastery, one of the largest in Ladakh, with a population of around 150 permanent monk residents. Continue with a drive through the lower valleys of ladakh to visit the Alchi monastery and then to the old ruins of the Basgo Fort which is a World Heritage Site under the UNESCO. Enroute visiti the Magnetic Hill, a place where you will see your car, move uphill on a steep slope, with its engine turned off. It almost feels unbelievable.

Day 3: Thiksey Monastery - Hemis Monastery - Hike up to Gotsang
Early in the morning visit the 15th century Thiksey Monastery where you will take part in a special morning prayer ceremony. As the sun rises, the trumpets, gongs, prayers and chants of the monks ring out. You will be guided through the complex and explore the prayer rooms with many handwritten books as well as the shrine of the goddess Tara. Afterwards you will have a private audience with a Geshe (Buddhist Doctorate Monk) to discuss or debate on Buddhism teachings and ethical practices. Afterwards, visit the 400-year-old Hemis Monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu school decorated with murals and statues. Followed by a hike up to Gotsang, a hillside hermitage with two attractive main temple buildings. Later drive back to Leh.

Day 4: Nubra Valley - The valley of sand dunes and flowers
After early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley crossing Khardung-la pass - the second highest motor-able road in the world at 17,582 ft. Nubra Valley is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram Range and Ladakh range of the Himalayas. On the way, visit Diskit Monastery. Check in to the camp/ hotel and later in the evening, visit the sand dunes. Here, you can enjoy a camel ride on the rare double humped Bactrian camel. (at your own cost).

Day 5: Turtuk Excursion
Today after a hearty breakfast at the hotel/ camp begin your day with the enchanting sight of the sunrise before embarking on a journey to Turtuk, a secluded village inhabited by approximately 4,000 Balti Muslims. Imbued with rich history, vibrant culture, and cherished traditions, Turtuk promises an immersive experience into the lives of its warm and welcoming locals. Take in the serenity of Turtuk's pristine landscapes before returning to Hunder by evening. Indulge in a sumptuous dinner that tantalises your taste buds, and retire for the night, feeling rejuvenated and invigorated by the day's adventures.

Day 6: Pangong Lake and Milky Way Stargazing
After enjoying a fulfilling breakfast and drive to Pangong Tso via Shyok River . Devour lunch upon arrival at camp. Spend the evening taking a walk by the lake while trying to identify the high altitude avian species. Early dinner at camp . If you can brave the cold, drive to the village of Mann to enjoy an unforgettable stargazing experience in Merak village.
Overnight in Namseylin Geodomes

Day 7: Journey back to Leh
Early breakfast and drive back to Leh via Changla pass (5,360m). Arrive for lunch at Namza in Leh town. Afternoon at leisure. Spend the evening walking around town and shopping for loved ones back home.

Day 8: Departure
Fly back home with unforgettable memories of Ladakh until this magical land calls you back again.
