Day 1: Arrival at Bandaranayke Int. Airport, transfer to Kalpitiya
Today you will arrive at Bandaranayke International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative who will welcome you and you start your journey to Kalpitiya, and proceed to your accommodation overnight.
Day 2: Kalpitiya – Wilpattu – Kalpitiya
You will enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you will transfer to Wilpattu National Park for a safari. You will go for a short boat ride over the Kalpitiya Lagoon to reach the starting point of the safari, from there onwards you will go for a 4x4 game drive inside the national park. Wilpattu National Park is one of the best national parks in the world for leopard breeding and spotting. In the afternoon you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Kalpitiya – Pidurangala – Dambulla
After breakfast, you will depart to Dambulla. On your way stop by Koskale which is famous for its Hot ‘Rotti’ which is a local snack in Sri Lanka. Visit Pidurangala in the evening to enjoy a beautiful sunset. In the evening head to Dambulla for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Dambulla – Hiriwaduna and Sigiriya – Dambulla
In the morning after breakfast, you will depart to a local village named Hiriwadunna. You will go on an exciting bicycle ride through the back roads of a Habarana village and also you will visit a local farming family. You will end the ride with a delicious Sri Lanka rice & curry lunch in the village. After lunch, you will proceed to Sigiriya. Sigiriya is a fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. Another fascinating detail is its mirror wall. Every step from the entrance to the top is a marvel on its own, and the interesting surroundings make the tedious climb to the top easy. In the evening, you will head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Dambulla – Matale – Kandy
After breakfast, you will head out for a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple. The popular cave temple complex in Dambulla dated to the 2nd century BC is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The Famous Rock temple has five separate caves containing 153 magnificent Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan monarchs and 4 Hindu deities. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kandy via Matale where you will visit the spice garden. You will learn more about the Sri Lankan spices used for cooking and medicine. Kandy is the popular charming hill capital of Sri Lanka, surrounded by hills, valleys, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls, and is the cultural center of the island and a UNESCO heritage city. You will go for a city tour in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth in the evening and witness a cultural show. In the late afternoon, you will head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kandy
After breakfast, you will be trekking to Heeloya Village to explore a typical Sri Lankan village. You will participate in the daily activities of the locals by engaging in plucking fruits and vegetables for a meal to be prepared according to the local taste. You will also get an opportunity to visit the Heeloya waterfall. In the evening you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and later witness a cultural dance show before we return back to the hotel.
Day 7: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Ella
After breakfast, you will be heading to Ella. Enroute visit Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is a city in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city is considered to be one of the most important locations for tea cultivation and well known for its cool climate being the coolest area in Sri Lanka. Ella is known for its beautiful hill country villages surrounded by mountains, tea plantations, and greenery everywhere you go, it is the best place to relax and wind down and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. On the way to Ella, you will make a quick stop at the Ramboda Waterfalls. In Ella, you will visit a tea plantation and a local tea factory where you will experience the tea production process. In the evening you will go on a short trek to Little Adam's Peak before you are heading back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Ella – Diyaluma – Ella
After, breakfast, you will trek to Diiyaluma Waterfalls. The foot of the Diyaluma Falls is located 1-hour away from Ella. This 220-meter high waterfall is the 2nd highest waterfall of Sri Lanka, has different levels and natural pools on the top. Water coming down with great force on the rocks is amazing to experience on foot. Once you reach the first part of the waterfall, you will face a series of natural pools and the views are out of this world. Later you will witness Rawana Waterfalls and Ella Gap. Return to hotel and relax. In the evening you can have a stroll in Ella town which is available with a wide variety of Café’s.
Day 9: Ella – Yala
After breakfast, you will proceed to Yala. Upon arrival in Yala, you will head to Yala National Park for an evening game drive. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards, and aquatic birds. In the evening you will head back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 10: Yala – Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa / Ahungalla
After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave for the coast to either Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa / Ahungalla for your beach stay. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have a full afternoon for relaxation at the beach.
Day 11: Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa / Ahungalla
Today you have a full day at leisure. The day can spend as per your wishes, either relaxing at the beach or you could opt to visit a turtle hatchery.
Day 12: Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa / Ahungalla

Day 13: Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa / Ahungalla – Colombo
After breakfast, you will be heading back to Colombo. On the way, you will pass by Kithulgala which is famous for white water rafting. Upon arrival in Colombo, you will go for a brief city tour in the evening. Colombo is a beautiful city with modern highrise buildings amidst old colonial ones making it a picturesque place. Galle Face Green in Colombo, the favorite hangout spot for locals and tourists alike overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean and surrounded by tall beautiful buildings. After the city tour, you will be heading to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 14: Colombo
Today you will wave goodbye to beautiful Sri Lanka, we will transfer you to the airport, where you will catch your departure flight back home or to your beach extension in the Maldives.
