Day 1: Arrival in Kunming
Your Yunnan adventure begins with a pickup from Kunming Changshui International Airport. Your first night will be spent at the comfortable Kunming Babyboon Hotel, allowing you to rest after your journey.

Day 2: Kunming – Jianshui
After breakfast, you'll embark on a drive to the spectacular Stone Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site of towering limestone karsts. In the afternoon, the journey continues south to the ancient town of Jianshui. Here, you’ll explore the elegant Mr.Zhu Family Garden, a well-preserved Qing-dynasty complex, and visit the iconic 17th-century Double Dragon Bridge at sunset. It’s a packed but rewarding day.

Day 3: Jianshui – Yuanyang
Today, you will leave Jianshui and drive through scenic mountain roads to Yuanyang, famous for its breathtaking rice terraces. Upon arrival, you'll visit the expansive Bada Rice Terrace area and then proceed to the Tiger Mouth Terrace, renowned for its dramatic, deep-valley views and brilliant sunset reflections on the water-filled paddies. You will spend the night in Yuanyang, surrounded by this stunning agricultural landscape.

Day 4: Yuanyang
An early start is rewarded with a magnificent sunrise viewed from the Duiyishu Rice Terrace, one of the most photogenic spots in Yuanyang. Afterward, you'll experience local life at a bustling hill tribe market, where various ethnic groups trade goods. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the traditional Hani village of Azheke, with its characteristic mushroom-shaped straw houses. You’ll spend a second night in Yuanyang.

Day 5: Pu'er
Bidding farewell to the terraces, you'll journey southwest towards the tea region of Puer. The drive itself is part of the experience, offering lush mountain vistas. Day 6: Pu'er
This day is a deep dive into Puer's tea culture. You'll visit several key tea-producing villages, including Laodabao, Wongji Village, and Nuogan Village, learning about tea cultivation from local farmers. The experience culminates back at your hotel, where you’ll participate in a hands-on tea-making session.

Day 7: Pu'er
Your exploration of Puer continues with a visit to another authentic Tea Village, where you can observe the processing of the world-famous Puer tea. Later, you'll take a scenic drive or short hike into Jinmai Mountain, an area revered for its ancient tea trees and pristine natural beauty.

Day 8: Pu’er – Xishuangbanna
Leaving the tea mountains behind, you'll set out on the drive to the tropical paradise of Xishuangbanna. En route, you'll make a delightful stop at the Xiaowazi Coffee Garden, where you can learn about Yunnan's growing coffee industry and enjoy a fresh brew. Upon arrival in the prefectural capital, you'll check into your accommodation in Jinghong for the evening.

Day 9: Xishuangbanna
Today is dedicated to the unique ecology and culture of Xishuangbanna. You'll spend the morning at the vast and beautiful Botanical Garden, home to thousands of plant species. In the afternoon, you'll visit a Dai Minority Village to gain insight into the customs, architecture, and daily life of one of China's most distinctive ethnic groups. The day ends back at your hotel.

Day 10: Xishuangbanna
For your final full day, you’ll venture into the great outdoors for a hike on Jinuo Mountain, the homeland of the Jinuo people. The trail offers a mix of tropical forest and mountain views. You’ll enjoy a memorable picnic lunch amidst the natural scenery before descending. You’ll have one last evening to relax.

Day 11: Xishuangbanna – Departure
Your memorable journey through Yunnan concludes today. Take a fast train back to Kunming or take a train into Laos to continue your journey on a deeper level into this beautiful region.
