Starting in Hanoi, you will marvel at the bustling streets and historic landmarks before cruising through the stunning Halong Bay. In Hoi An, you will explore the ancient town's charming streets and experience the local way of life in Go Noi village. Hue will enchant you with its imperial history, while Saigon will impress you with its modern vibe. You will also visit the iconic Cu Chi tunnels and the lush Mekong Delta, making this an unforgettable journey through Vietnam.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi
Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, your guide will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel for free time at leisure. In case you arrive early, we could book an additional city tour for you through Hanoi. Overnight at La Siesta Premium Hang Be Hotel, Junior Suite room.

Day 2: Hanoi
Early morning, you will meet your guide and driver around 07:00 am and head towards Hoan Kiem Lake. It is a cultural thing in Vietnam to wake up very early and start the morning with some exercise. Several groups of people can be found practicing tai chi and aerobics. Be part of Vietnam and join the locals in their morning routine! After visiting the Ngoc Son Temple, located in the middle of the Hoan Kiem Lake, you will visit a traditional, local, and charming coffee place, where you will be able to try Vietnam’s local coffee: Cà phê sữa đá (Iced coffee) and if you feel more adventurous, you can also try the ‘Egg coffee’! After your coffee, you will continue walking and you will stop in a street food place, where you will try the delicious ‘bánh mì’ – a typical baguette sandwich filled in with a variety of things! Later, we will get deep into Hanoi’s Old Quarter and you will start a walking tour where you will be able to witness the French architecture in different Vietnamese buildings, including the St. Joseph Cathedral, the Hoa Lo Prison, and the Huu Tiep Lake. At noon, you will return to the Old Quarter. Vietnam is very well known for its food, so you will stop at a ‘Bún Chả’ restaurant, where you will try Hanoi’s specialty. After your local lunch, you will visit the Temple of Literature. After this visit, you will continue to Long Bien Bridge and you will finish the day with some beers at the typical and well-known Bia Hoi, where you will taste local draft beer; finishing the day as a local! Hanoi tour

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ha Long City in a shared shuttle. Arrive at Tuan Chau Island – take a break and enjoy a welcome drink at the cruise Lounge. You will be transferred to the cruise, where you will enjoy a welcome drink, receive the cruise briefing, safety instructions, and check-in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. Lunch will be served on the boat with Vietnamese and International dishes while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island. You also have a chance to go kayaking while being onboard the cruise. Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance to relax or you can take the steps to reach the top of Ti Top beach for a panorama view of Halong Bay. Later you will head. back to the boat for free time while sailing to the Luon Bo area, and anchor overnight. You can also attend the cooking class on the sundeck and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay while enjoying a drink during happy hour. Dinner will be served onboard the cruise. Overnight at Heritage Cruise, ocean cabin.

Ha Long Bay

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi - Hoi An
Early in the morning, you can decide to participate in a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Coffee, tea, and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with a morning view of the bay’s landscape. After breakfast, you will head to Sung Sot Cave, walking up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. You will enjoy brunch on the cruise while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. You will be transferred back to Hanoi by shared shuttle bus. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, you will be transferred to Little Riverside Hoi An in Hoi An for leisure and overnight.

Sung Cot Caves, Halong Bay

Day 5: Hoi An
Experience Rural Vietnam: Cycle Through Go Noi Village and Explore Organic Farms
. Start your journey by meeting with our guide at your hotel and heading to Go Noi Village, located just 15 km west of Hoi An. There, you'll meet Mr. Phap and explore his farm, which is part of a collective that produces organic vegetables. Cycle through the village and rice fields until you reach one of the collective's organic plantations, where you can see crops such as chili pepper, water bindweed, lettuce, basilica, spinach, squash, and edible chrysanthemums. Get your hands dirty and participate in agricultural activities like harvesting, planting, weeding, tilling, watering, or fertilizing crops with organic compost.

Cycle along the picturesque Thu Bon River until you reach a small pier. After a brief 15-20 minute crossing, you'll arrive at a beautiful bamboo bridge used by farmers to reach their fields on the other side of the river. Continue your journey through the fields of peanuts, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, corn, and aromatic herbs, enjoying the authentic atmosphere of the countryside and interacting with farmers working in the fields. Along the way, stop by a wood carving workshop to observe the skillful carvers at work.

After your adventure, return to Mr. Phap's farm for a typical authentic lunch with his family. You even have the optional opportunity to help prepare a typical dish of banh xeo (crispy pancakes) for lunch. During the months of October, November, and December, in case of rain, the local boat tour will be replaced by a visit to a local who makes the famous rice noodles "my Quang" and rice cake, and the preparation of the banh xeo.

End your day by relaxing at the Little Riverside Hoi An.

Go Noi Village

Day 6: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and depart to Da Nang. You will visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which opened in 1915. Then, you will explore the Marble Mountains which are a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels, and temples. Around noon you will continue your drive toward Hue. The drive passes through many spectacular scenarios along National Highway 1 such as the breathtaking Hai Van Pass. The pass is the highest and longest pass in Vietnam, with the North-South National Highway zigzagging through it for almost 20 km. Photo-stop somewhere in the Pass, and get your perfect pictures of Lang Co beach, a spectacular landscape, or the peaceful fishing vicinity. Upon arrival in Hue, you will be transferred to Eldora Hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 7: Hue
After breakfast, you will explore more of Hue and its neighboring villages. Thuy Bieu is an ancient village long known as a symbol of transition and harmony, with multiple well-preserved communal houses, the nostalgic beauty of the garden houses, their aesthetic wooden architecture, and the Fengshui-based garden. You will explore some original monuments closely attached to the rise and fall of the Nguyen dynasties. You will cruise on the poetic Perfume River to visit the characteristic Thien Mu Pagoda. Then, you will visit the Forbidden Purple City, constructed under Emperor Gia Long, in the early 19th century. Established as the capital of unified Viet Nam in 1802, Hue was not only the political but also the cultural and religious center under the Nguyen dynasty until 1945. Hue was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 1993. In the evening you will head back to Eldora Hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 8: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Phu Bai Airport to take the Ho Chi Minh City flight. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, your driver and guide will meet you, and they will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels. The tunnels are located in an area that played an important role during Vietnam's wars for independence and reunification. More than 200 km / 125 miles of tunnels were built here by the Vietnamese guerrillas. After you visit the tunnels, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and free time at leisure. In the late evening, you will be picked up by your guide for a motorbike street food tour. You will head out and taste the most special dishes offered in small alleys while learning about each dish's history and cultural significance. You will later continue by foot to explore more of the nightlife of Saigon the local way. Next, the guide will introduce the most popular Vietnamese food traditions: “The Street Barbeque” beer and some Vietnamese sweets. At around 10:00 pm, we will drive you back to your hotel, where you can rest for the rest of the night. Overnight at Bach Suites - superior room

Cu Chi Tunnels

Day 9: Saigon
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning for a full day exploring Saigon. Today starts with an early morning walk through Tao Dan Park in the center of Saigon. It’s then a short walk to the Thich Quang Duc (Burning Monk) Monument, a dedication to the subject of ‘that’ photo from The War. You stop for a hot bowl of breakfast soup before heading to Cho Lon, known as the Chinatown of Saigon. Cho Lon is a feast for the eyes, from pagodas to parks, local craftsmen to lively children on their way to school. From Cho Lon, you will head for lunch in a local restaurant where you are treated to some amazing food in a setting unlike anything else in Saigon. After lunch, it’s a short stroll to an old apartment block where residents have come together and transformed their homes into funky, stylish, unique coffee shops. When you need rest, you will find the perfect place to relax for a traditional Vietnamese tea-tasting experience. Stay and relax with more tea on the beautiful balcony, take another stroll through the building, head back to Bach Suites or spend more time in the bustling modernity of central Saigon

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Experience Mekong by cruise
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and head towards Ben Tre. You will enjoy a boat cruise along the river, a Mekong branch. You will start the day by taking a short walk through various local workplaces where you can picture how local people work. You will continue your boat trip to My Long village, walking to the hamlet to see rice paper making and enjoy some rice cake. Follow the Cai Son canal, winding through a coconut jungle, visit a coconut workshop, and have a look at the stages of coconut processing, from removing the husk to prizing out the peel by hand. Next, go on a small waterway and stop at a bee garden, enjoy some fruits and honey tea and listen to local music. Visit a candy mill and enjoy some sweets. Afterward, you will bike on rural tracks or drive xe loi through coconut groves and vegetable patches. Go by rowboat on a shady palm tree canal and stop at the Green Garden riverside restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will head back to the pier by motorboat. In the evening, you will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City for leisure and overnight at Bach Suites - superior room.

Mekong Delta Daytrip

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City
Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ho Chi Minh City International Airport for your departure flight.
