Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Calama
Today you will arrive at Calama Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative who will welcome you and you start your journey to San Pedro de Atacama, and proceed to your accommodation overnight.

Day 2: San Pedro de Atacama - visit Cejar Lagoon & Death Valley 
After breakfast, you will leave San Pedro de Atacama towards the northern part of the salt flat of Atacama, where you will visit The Cejar lagoon complex. The lagoon encompasses 3 Saline Domes filled with salty water that due to the huge amount of salinity, produces a floating effect which makes its bathing experience a relaxed and fun moment for everybody in the lagoons. After a visit to the lagoon, you will head for a short and easy trek at the Tebenquiche lagoon.  
In the afternoon you will leave the small lovely town of San Pedro de Atacama, after a short drive you will reach the unique Salt Mountain Range, located between the Andes and Domeyko Mountain ranges. Here you will observe the “Dinosaur Valley”, the “Death Valley” full of interesting stories, dunes for some fun sandboarding, and lookouts with views of the mountain range and its volcanoes. You will walk through the heart of the moon valley where you are going to be lucky enough to admire structures such as the amphitheater, the Major Dune, and incredible rock elevations like the magical Three Marys viewpoint that hides many indigenous stories behind it. Finally, we will finish this experience on one of the cliffs of the “Death Valley”, admiring the magical sunset.

Day 3: San Pedro de Atacama 
After breakfast, you will depart from your accommodation for a 90-minute drive where you will reach one of the most important geothermal fields in the southern hemisphere, Geysers del Tatio. Here, you will be amazed by its different geothermal manifestations such as water jets, steam columns as well as the magnificent natural environment of the Andes mountain only within a few steps away from us. After some time spent here, you will be returning to San Pedro de Atacama, while enjoying the breathtaking views on the way. In the afternoon you will visit Machuca, located at around 4.000 mts / 13.120 feet above sea level, you will meet several Llama, sheep and goat’s shepherds. Machuca is an adorable small town with many local traditions still alive and a beautiful church built in the early 18th century. In the evening you will be heading back to San Pedro de Atacama for leisure and overnight.

Day 4: San Pedro de Atacama - Santiago 
After an early breakfast you will check out from your hotel and we will take you to the airport for your flight to Santiago de Chile. Upon arrival in Santiago, our representative will be waiting for you and you will head out for a city tour of the cosmopolitan city of Santiago. The tour will take you to visit the heart of the city and its emblematic sites such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santiago’s Central Postal Office, and its municipality. You will also visit the Moneda Palace, which is the government’s headquarters as well as the traditional neighborhoods of the historic city center. The tour also includes a visit to San Cristobal’s hill, which is a real urban oasis in the center of the city. Here you will learn more about Chile’s history and enjoy some of the best views in the city. After knowing Santiago, you will arrive at Barrio Lastarria, famous for its cultural, inherited, and gastronomical offer. In the evening, transfer to your hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 5: Santiago - Puerto Natales
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Santiago airport for your flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Natales for leisure and overnight.

Day 6: Milodon Caves & Torres del Paine National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel to Torres del Paine National Park, via de Milodon Caves where you will stop for a short visit. You will visit Torres del Paine National Park and be able to observe lagoons and mountain ranges along the way. You will also make a stop to observe Cuernos del Paine and visit the Lago Grey area. Here you will be able to take a pleasant walk along the shore of Grey Lake. Back in the parking lot of the area, you take the route back to a restaurant located inside the park to take a moment of rest with the option to have lunch. At the end of this restful break, you will begin the second stage of our visit to the Torres del Paine National Park, heading to the Salto Grande sector. You will visit the viewpoint of Lake Nordenskjold and continue enjoying diverse views in our wavy route that brings you little by little to the sector of Laguna Amarga. After admiring this pleasant spectacle, we will return to Puerto Natales passing by the Mirador del Lago Sarmiento, arriving at dusk and bringing an unforgettable experience.

Torres del Paine National Park

Day 7: Glaciers Balmaceda & Serrano
After an early breakfast you will depart towards Guanaco Island where, if you are lucky, you might spot some dolphins. You will pass through Estancia la Península to access the rocky walls where an important population of Cormorants lives, continuing the trip to Punta de Lobos. Afterward, you will visit the cascade and cliffs where you might be able to spot some condors. At each point of interest, the boat will stop for you to enjoy the scenery and attractions. The trip continues to Mount Balmaceda (2035m /6680feet) where you can appreciate the glaciers and then you will disembark in Puerto Toro to begin the one-hour trek through the shore of the Témpanos lagoon, accompanied by your guide. Through the forest you will be heading to the Serrano glacier, you will enjoy the fascinating vegetation, the contrast between a clear sky and ice of the imposing Serrano glacier. In the evening transfer back to your hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 8: Puerto Natales - Santiago
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Santiago. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 9: Santiago
After breakfast, you will head to Viña del Mar, also known as the “Garden City”, for originally being surrounded by large green areas and for now preserving its extensive and beautiful urban gardens, with the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop. Viña del Mar stands out for its beautiful architecture, its impressive palaces, and famous Flower Clock, photographed by tourists from all over the world. During the tour, you will have the option to have lunch in one of the numerous restaurants in the city, with a variety of delicious seafood. You will travel along the seafront, and enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean, before arriving at the most important port in Chile; Valparaiso. It was listed as a Unesco World Heritage site thanks to its colorful beauty and the uniqueness of its location on the hills, which create a natural amphitheater with the ocean as its stage. We will visit Cerro Alegre, where you can truly appreciate the magic of the city, with its picturesque funiculars, multi-colored neighborhoods, and unforgettable sea views. You will then head to Sotomayor Square, to see the Monument of the Heroes of Iquique. Once in the port, there will be the option to take a boat out around Valparaíso’s bay to enjoy the views of the colorful hills from a different perspective. In the afternoon transfer back to your hotel for leisure and overnight.
