Experience Our Cultural Tour Mongolia
This tour is a perfect introduction to the interesting culture of Mongolia. You will start and end the tour in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. You will visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, which was the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, and live a local nomadic life in a local Ger camp. You will also have an opportunity to hike in the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai.
Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Ulaanbaatar
Today you will arrive at Ulaanbaatar International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative who will welcome you and you start your journey to the city, and proceed to your accommodation where you will freshen up before heading out for a short city tour. During the city tour, you will visit the Gandan Monastery and the museum of national history. After the short city tour, you will be heading back to Edelweiss Hotel 1for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar - Kharkhorin
After breakfast, you will depart to Kharkhorin - the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire which was destroyed by invading Chinese forces in the 15th century. You will have a lunch stop on the way. Upon arrival in Kharkhorin, you can see the turtle rock guarding the walls of the lost city, also visit the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple - Erdene Zuu monastery, which is surrounded by a brick wall with 108 stupas. Although most of the monastery buildings were destroyed during the communist repression of 1937, major buildings are survived. In the evening transfer to your ger camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Kharkhorin
After breakfast, you will head out to experience the real life of a Mongolian nomadic family. Learn more about their life and their animal farming. You will have a chance to taste Mongolian dairy products like aaruul, fresh milk, cheese, butter, and tea with milk. It's possible to add a horse riding experience as well. Dinner and overnight in a local ger.

Day 4: Kharkhorin - Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes
After breakfast, you will depart to Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes, which is a magnificent place. You will get a chance to explore the lovely sand dunes named Elsen Tasarkhai and go for a hike in the beautiful mountains surrounding this place. No matter the time of day, the beautiful and ever-changing scene of this majestic sand dune Elsen Tasarkhai will be full of wildlife.
Day 5: Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes - Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast at your ger camp, you will head back to Ulaanbaatar. You will enjoy a local lunch en-route. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be transferred to Edelweiss Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ulaanbaatar
Today we will take you to the airport for your departure flight.
