Our classic Kenya tour will take you to the famous lake Naivasha for a boat ride, lake Nakuru to spot the rhinoes and the open plains of the Masai Mara, this is a perfect trip to spot the big five and even the great migration during certain months of the year.
Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi Int. Airport
Today you will arrive at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative who will welcome you and you start your journey to Nairobi, and proceed to Ibis Styles for overnight.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we will depart to Lake Naivasha National Park. It is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rif Valley lakes. At 1910m (6200f), the water is fresh and the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptian once used this to make paper). Naivasha is another area popular for bird watching (over 400species have been recorded). There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country's fledgling wine industry. In the afternoon. you will enjoy a boat ride on the lake and in the evening head to Enashipai Resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, we will depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. It's recognized as one of the natural wonders of the world with an abundant number of flamingoes. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. Arrive in time for lunch then enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to Sarova Lion Hill for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
After breakfast, we will be heading towards the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Mara inside the conservancy.
Day 5: Masai Mara
Today we will enjoy a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. You can decide to go out for a full day or go for a morning and evening game drive. You will also get to spend some time at your accommodation if you prefer and enjoy a hot lunch. You can also decide to go for a cultural visit to a Masai village or go on a guided walk. Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Mara.
There is an option of booking an additional balloon safari over the Masai Mara. The balloon safari offers a different view over the landscape and on the animals and is an unforgettable experience.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Today we will enjoy a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. You can decide to go out for a full day or go for a morning and evening game drive. You will also get to spend some time at your accommodation if you prefer and enjoy a hot lunch. You can also decide to go for a cultural visit to a Masai village or go on a guided walk. Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Mara.
Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast, we will depart back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we can take you straight to the airport for your departure flight or to your hotel for overnight.
